Our Faith
All activities at Kingston Christian School serve to bring our mission to life: to uncover and establish the foundation of a biblical worldview as the inseparable unity of faith and service and develop students’ unique gifts and talents to the point of flourishing.
To that end, the Christian Bible and faith are central to all that we do, and we believe it is our duty and privilege as Christian parents and educators to provide Christian education to all the children entrusted to us.
As it states in our school constitution,
“The Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him. He is before all things, and in him all things hold together. And he is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead, so that in everything he might have the supremacy. For God was pleased to have all his fullness dwell in him, and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through his blood, shed on the cross.”

As we daily work towards this mission, our school welcomes students both from Christian families and those wishing to have their children educated in a Christian environment.
We are a non-denominational Ministry, accepting students from a wide variety of Christian and non-Christian backgrounds.
How We Live Out Our Faith
Our Bible program covers the central themes presented in Scripture. God’s faithfulness and love; His care, grace, and mercy extended toward sinful people; and His continued call to come to salvation through Christ provide the framework for our Bible classes. The New International Version (NIV) of the Bible is the standard translation used.
We integrate the Bible’s teaching into all curriculum areas. For instance, when we teach math, we help students understand that the world was created with order, pattern and interrelatedness. Humanity did not create math; we unfold it according to God’s created norms.
Our annual rhythms also include a weekly chapel and praise time on Fridays (open to parents), a weekly praying parents gathering, an annual Christmas program, and many other opportunities to grow together in our Christian faith.
KCS Society
KCS parents are invited to consider membership in the KCS Society, the governing body of Kingston Christian School. This invite is extended to those who are able to provide a pastoral reference letter as well as a membership fee, which is included with tuition for currently enrolled families.
